About

mintie whatnot

Welcome. The first 4 blog chapters contain a funny long-form comic about an egg that thinks it’s a certain well-known TV personality

If you’re here because of my watercolour paintings, see temporary blog chapters 5 and 6 with sold works and available works.

Chapter 7 is the next comic in progress, about me arguing with the work computer, begun out of frustration at lack of creative output since starting full-time employment taking calls for large business cults (two different ones so far. I found the first one shocking enough. The second one is much worse, haHA. Ha. ha.). More unlicensed cameos from medium/high level famous people, e.g. Black Francis. Slight language warning.

Feel free to leave a message at mintiewhatnot@mintiewhatnot.com – Or info@mintiewhatnot.com. – YES I DO COMMISSIONS, am in the middle of one right now – prices range, so far, from $120 to $450 for framed works, depending on size and amount of detail. Price for individually drawn and painted greeting cards, on good quality watercolour paper, depends on the design, and number of cards. Probably a minumum of $15 for a card, which I agree is a lot of money for a card. If it’s, say, a run of 20 or more Christmas cards with a fairly simple graphic, we could maybe get it down to $10 per card. The cards do look really good framed, so actually they are a bargain. You can see some cards at the end of the the Sold And Commissions post.

The car workshop asked the purchaser to never bring them a job like that again, and said they needed more laquer than for a car. One of the mini bears went to the Morroccan ambassador to Germany at the time.
